JobPack AI ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using JobPack AI you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

• Account information: When you sign up, we collect your email address (or your Apple ID relay email if you use Sign in with Apple) to create and secure your account.
• Content you provide: The information you enter to build resumes and cover letters — such as your name, contact details, work experience, education, skills, and any photo you choose to add — is stored so you can generate, view, edit, and export your documents.
• Job application tracker data: Company names, roles, dates, notes, and status you add to the tracker.
• Usage data: Basic, non-identifying information about how the app is used, to help us fix bugs and improve features.

How We Use Your Information

• To generate AI-powered resumes, cover letters, and interview preparation tailored to the job details you provide.
• To save your documents and application history so you can access them across sessions.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app.
• To process subscriptions and provide access to Pro features.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party providers to operate the app. These providers process data only to provide their services to us:

• Firebase (Google): authentication and secure cloud storage of your account and documents.
• Anthropic (Claude API): the text you submit for generation (e.g. job descriptions and your details) is sent to Anthropic's AI to produce your resume, cover letter, or interview content. It is used to fulfil your request and is not used to identify you.
• RevenueCat & Apple: to manage subscriptions and process payments. We do not receive or store your payment card details; payments are handled by Apple.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your resumes, cover letters, and tracker entries in the app. To delete your entire account and associated data, contact us at the email below and we will remove it.

Subscriptions

JobPack AI is free to install and use for generating and previewing documents. Downloading/exporting documents as PDF requires a Pro subscription: a 7-day free trial, then $9.99/month. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

Children's Privacy

JobPack AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time through the app or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
